What should I expect at my fitting?

We ask that you bring your exact undergarments and shoes to your fitting. Then we pop you in your item to take a look at it. We will walk you through everything that we see. Then go over anything you would want to add or change. Just because we see something doesn't mean you have to have that work done. At the end of the day you are the boss.

Where do you recommend getting a bra?

We have a few different options. We don't have every single size, but we have enough to help you find what you need. We are happy to help find things if we don't have what you need.

How much will Alterations cost?

We only charge for the work we do. It's hard to tell you the exact price of alterations. It really depends on the work you need to be happy. We can give a rough estimate if you have a photo of you in the item you wish to alter. However, we wont know pricing until we can physically lay our hands on the item to see how its built.

When do you need to see me for alterations?

So we say that we have a 5 week turn around time. That isn't always true. We recommend that we see you 8-12 weeks before the event date. We can see you 6 months out if that makes you more comfortable. The only exception is custom work. Then we would like 3-4 months.

Why do I have to have my exact shoes?

Most of us aren't six feet tall. In order to make sure that we make your item the correct length we want to have the shoes you are wearing with the item. It doesn't matter if its jeans or a wedding gown, we just want your item to be as close to perfect as possible.

How long are the fittings?

We book bridal fittings for an hour and a half. Typically things do not take that long, but we want to make sure we have plenty of time for our clients. For bridesmaids we schedule an hour. We typically get you out sooner. Rather be safe than sorry.

How many appointments will it take?

Typical bridal is 2-3 appointments. It depends on the amount of work that you need done. For others we like to say 2 appointments. This can change depending on the amount of work necessary for the garment.

Do you work on menswear?

Yes! We do. We have experience with tailoring suits as well.

Where are you located?

We are located in Halls. The reason we do not put the address everywhere is that we work by appointment only. On top of that we are a small home business. While we have our own dedicated space separate from the house, we only have room to do one fitting at a time. We are just trying to make sure we have the time and space to take care of our people the best we can.
